To provide a means for fixing a crystal vibration element to a package of a flat mount crystal vibrator almost in parallel with an inner bottom side of the package.
The cantilever crystal vibrator is configured to include: the package; the cantilever crystal vibration element; and a pillow member, wherein the cantilever crystal vibration element is structured such that a conductive adhesive applied onto an electrode of a step difference part inside the package supports the crystal vibration element nearly in parallel with the inner bottom side of the package. The flat mount crystal vibrator is configured: at least part of the pillow member is molten on an electrode located to the package inner bottom side opposed to the step difference part; and a gap is formed between a base plate side of the crystal vibration element and the molten pillow member.
