To provide a pig iron exit opening machine which can be used commonly to two pig iron exits, can reduce the fluctuation of the position of opening center when opening the pig iron exit, and can replace a drifter within a short period of time.

The position of a synchronizing beam pivot axle 7 that supports one end of a synchronous beam 10 and the position of a hinge 12 on the other end of the beam 10 are set so that the longitudinal center axis of the opening machine body may coincide with the center axes of the two adjoining pig iron exit chutes in the opening position corresponding to the two adjoining pig iron exit chutes. The synchronous beam 10 regulates the posture on the plane of the opening machine body 15 in each pivoting position by allowing it to follow and pivot through a lift 13 by the pivoting of the beam 6 and is formed so that it may not interfere with the beam 6 at the time of following and pivoting. The drifter is exchanged in such a way that a drifter and accessories are integrated with a base plate to form a spare and the used assembly is replaced with the spare.
