Abstract:

To improve optoelectronic transducing efficiency and to prevent cohesion of a pigment by adsorbing a pigment and a compound having a hetero ring to a semiconductor fine grain.

A pigment and a compound expressed by formula I such as a compound of formula II are used. To adsorb a pigment in a semiconductor fine grain, a well dried semiconductor fine grain is dipped in a pigment solution for several hours. The compound by formula I is coexistent in a pigment adsorbing liquid or a pigment is adsorbed to the semiconductor fine grain and then washed with a solution of the compound expressed by formula I. As a color sensitizing pigment, a ruthenium complex pigment, a phthalocyanine pigment, and a polymethyne are preferable. In formula I, Q is a hetero ring, L is a single bond or a bivalent coupling group, Z is an acid group, and W is paired ions for neutralizing charges of a molecule. Preferably, Q is a pyrrole ring, a thiazole ring, an oxazole ring, a cerenazo cerenazole ring, an imidazole ring, a 2-quinoline ring, a 4-quinoline ring, and Z is carboxylic acid or solufonic acid.
