Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive pigment compound capable of achieving a high photoelectric conversion ratio, accessible without remarkable restriction, a photoelectric conversion element and a solar battery each using the same.

The pigment compound is represented by formula (I) (wherein R1, R2, R3, B1 are each independently a specific substituent; L1 is a specific linking group; two or three groups out of R1, R2 and L1 may be bonded with each other so as to form a ring; at least one out of R1, R2, R3 and L1 includes Rf; Rf is a heterocyclic group bonded with an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a carbon atom, and Rf has at least one fluorine atom).
