PURPOSE: To facilitate the dispersion of a pigment and to enhance the stability of dispersion by blending at least one kind of compd. expressed by the specified general formula into an org. liquid added with a fine powdery solid as a dispersant.
CONSTITUTION: At least one kind of benzoic acid derivative expressed by formulas I, II, or III is added into an org. liquid added with a fine powdery solid as a dispersant (in each formula, COOR1, COOR2, and COOR3 can be optionally positioned with respect to a COOH group, and R1, R2, and R3 are independently a ≥5C monovalent hydrocarbon group or a ≥5C functional group having ≥1 ether coupling or ester coupling). The ratio of said dispersant to the pigment in the dispersed liquid is regulated to 0.1W50%, or preferably to 0.7W30%.
