Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion liquid which achieves both of high contrast and dispersion stability when a brominated zinc phthalocyanine green pigment is used, and to provide a coloring composition for a color filter having good developability using the same.SOLUTION: A pigment dispersion liquid for a color filter contains a pigment, a solvent, and a dispersant. The pigment contains brominated zinc phthalocyanine and the solvent contains glycol alkyl ether acetate. The dispersant is a block copolymer comprising an A block having an affinity for solvents and a B block having a functional group containing a nitrogen atom. The pigment dispersion liquid for the color filter contains the dispersant having an amine value of 80 mgKOH/g to 150 mgKOH/g (in terms of effective solid content).SELECTED DRAWING: None
