Abstract:
To provide a pigment dispersion capable of providing a coloring composition good in dispersion stability and good in storage stability even when an epoxy group-containing component is contained in a coated film formation component.SOLUTION: There is provided a pigment dispersion containing a pigment, a dispersant and a solvent, excluding quaternary ammonium salt, in which the dispersant is a block polymer having a linear structure with a first block having at least one kind selected from a constitutional unit represented by the formula (1) or the like at an end part and no basic group. Rand Rrepresent each independently H, a monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, or a monovalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, and at least one of them is not H, Rrepresents H or a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
