PURPOSE: To provide an effective pigment formulation that can realize the economical production of flowable printing inks, coatings, and pumpable pastes, and does not cause the deterioration in coloring power which rewards the description of the products.
CONSTITUTION: The novel pigment formulation contains (a) at least one particulate pigment, (b') at least one copolymer having molecular weight of 500-12000 g/mol which is obtained by the radical polymerization of (α1') a 18-40C monoolefin or (α2) a 8-40C alkylvinyl ether or (α3) a 8-40C alkylvinyl ether and a 8-40C monoolefin with (β) a monoethylenic unsaturated 4-12C-dicarboxylic acid or -dicarboxylic anhydride, and (c) possibly other additives, which are used usually in pigment formulations.
