Abstract:
Preparation of azobarbituric acid nickel complex (I) or its tautomer and/or hydrate containing melamine or its derivative, comprises reacting azobarbituric acid mono-salt (II) with a nickel compound and melamine or its derivative in the presence of a free azobarbituric acid (III). Preparation of azobarbituric acid nickel complex (I) or its tautomer and/or hydrate containing melamine or its derivative, comprises reacting azobarbituric acid mono-salt of formula (II) with a nickel compound and melamine or its derivative in the presence of a free azobarbituric acid (III). K1 +> : a univalent or polyvalent cation excluding H +>, preferably Li, Na, K (preferred), 1/2 Mg, 1/2 Ca, 1/2 Al or optionally substituted, preferably unsubstituted ammonium cation. Independent claims are included for: (1) (I) obtained by the above process; (2) a pigment preparation comprising (I) and at least one dispersant; and (3) a photoresist comprising (I), at least one photo initiator and a photocurable monomer.
