Title:
PIGMENT PRINTING ON FIBER MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05117980
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a printing paste with superior storage stability comprising halogenohydrin groups obtainable from a specified polyamine and epihalogenohydrin, which is useful as a binder and/or a crosslinking agent for pigment printing.

CONSTITUTION: (A) A basic macromolecular compd. free of a halogenohydrin group such as basic polyamideamine, (B) a crosslinking agent comprising a water-soluble compd. rich in crosslinkable stability obtainable by reacting an aliphat. polyamine contg. primary, secondary and/or tertiary amino group or hydroxyl group as a polyamine and epihalogenohydrin or 1,3-dihalogeno-2- hydroxypropane with an inorg. base and reacting the obtained basic product with an inorg. acid and/or carboxylic acid, and if necessary (C) a binder of a polymer or a copolymer of a vinyl compd. are formulated to obtain a pigment printing paste with superior storage stability hitherto not obtained. It can be used for pigment printing of cellulose fibers.
