To provide a pile for building, capable of stably providing a large bearing capacity and being firmly connected to an above-ground building or another pile for building without soldering.
A pile for building comprises: a pile body 3 having a hollow column shape and formed so as to surround from the outside a shaft hole extending along a straight line as its central axis; and a support block 4 having a hollow column shape so as to surround from the outside a through-hole extending along the straight line as its central axis, and having an inner peripheral surface facing the central axis of the through-hole and an outer peripheral surface located outside of and spaced apart from the inner peripheral surface. The pile body 3 and the support block 4 are formed in such a manner that the area of two end surfaces of the pile body 3 is smaller than the area of two end surfaces of the support block 4, assembled in such a manner that one of the two end surfaces of the pile body 3 is mounted within the area range of one of the two end surfaces of the support block 4, and the one end surface of the support block 4 receives all the weight of the pile body 3, and then used.
