Abstract:
PURPOSE: To work well with piles having different diameters by installing an exhaust earth casing in the upper part of a steel pipe, installing rotatably a hook piece which can be hitched with a ring-shaped plate fixed to the pile head on the outside of the pipe, and installing a spacer fixture in the upper part of the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: In the case a pile 1 having a considerably smaller diameter than the inside diameter of a steel pipe 3 fitted with an exhaust earth hopper 5 is to be coupled with a pile hanging device, a tubular spacer 14 is inserted into the steel pipe 3, and fixation is made with a flange 12 on the spacer 14 and a stop pin 15 on the pipe 3. An aux. cylinder 2 at the top of the pile 1 is inserted into the tubing body 13 of the spacer 14, and a packing 21 at the top of the aux. cylinder 2 is interposed between the undersurface of the flange 12 and the top surface of the aux. cylinder 2. If further the pipe 2 is hung down as shown by Arrow 22, t,he bottom of a hook piece 7 touches a ring-shaped plate 6 and once rotates in the direction of Arrow 24, and the ring-shaped plate 6 is hitched with the hook piece 7. When pile 1 having a large diameter is to be inserted into the pipe 3, the spacer 14 is removed, and the top of the aux. cylinder 2 is contacted with the flange 12 of the pipe 3, and the plate 6 is hitched with the hook 7.
