To provide piles which are easily connectable to each other and contribute to shortening of working hours.
The piles are connected together by welding a box joint 4 to an upper edge of the lower pile 2, welding a pin joint 3 to a lower edge of the upper pile 1, and connecting between the box joint 4 and the pin joint 3 adjacent to each other in a pile axial direction in a slipout preventive manner. The box joint 4 and the pin joint 3 are formed in a manner capable of fitting to each other. Specifically the box joint 4 has circumferential recesses 4c formed in an inner peripheral surface thereof, and the pin joint 3 has circumferential bumps 3c formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof, corresponding to the recesses. Further the pin joint 3 has longitudinal slits 3a formed therein, so that the bumps 3c of the pin joint 3 are fitted into the recesses 4c of the box joint 4, and the box joint 4 has detent bolts 4b arranged on the outer peripheral surface thereof, while the pin joint 3 has detent bolt holes 3b formed therein.
