In the cap 1 made of a metal separably formed by weakening part in which horizontal slits 16 and bridges 17 are alternately formed along the circumferential direction of the cap, by forming the horizontal slits 16 formed by being sheared in the transverse direction from the outside so as to leave the bridges 17 in such a way that the upper part of the sheared face is off-set more inside than the lower part in the cap diameter direction, the bridges 17 are formed upper than the sheared face of the horizontal slits 16 and heights of the bridges 17 is made approximately the same as or smaller than the sheet thickness and the inner diameter of the top end part of the pilfer-proof band 15 below the sheared face is made larger than the maximum outer diameter of an annular expanding part 22 formed at the opening part 2 of the container to hook the pilfer-proof band 15.
