Abstract:

To facilitate removal of a TE band without spoiling virginity confirming function in a pilfer-proof cap leaving the TE band on an opening of a bottle.

A screw lid 2 and the TE band 3 are connected with each other with a narrow first bridge 4 which can be torn off. In the TE band 3, a break allowable means consisting of an upward opened slit 8 and a narrow second bridge 9 is formed. As the second bridge 9 is positioned at the bottom end of the TE band 3, there exists no possibility of expanding and deforming of the TE band 3 when capping is performed and the virginity confirming function is high. As the slit 8 looks up, even when the TE band 3 is got on the lower stage flange A2 of the pilfer-proof cap A, it is possible to lift up the end part 3a of the TE band 3 by a finger top and to simply tear off it.
