Abstract:

To appropriately set a timing for stopping spark ignition after securing ignition by pilot fuel injection, and to stably continue operation by smoothly and securely starting a gas engine.

A controller 22 includes a cooling water temperature originated passing time setting means 23, a room temperature originated passing time setting means 24, a passing time comparing means 26, and a timer 25. The cooling water temperature originated passing time setting means 23 and the room temperature originated passing time setting means 24 compare a respectively determined specified passing time by the passing time comparing means 26 on the basis of a detected temperature by a temperature sensor 20 of a cooling water circulating circuit 14 of the gas engine 10 and a detected temperature of a room temperature sensor 21. The timer 25 stops ignition of an ignition plug 9 through an ignitor 13 at a timing of a longer specified passing time. Thereby, ignition operation only by a liquid fuel injection valve of the gas engine 10 is continued.
