Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pilot injection device of a diesel engine capable of preventing main injection during pilot combustion even when injection timing of the main injection is made earlier and previously preventing increase of NOx caused by it.
CONSTITUTION: In a device to carry out pilot injection prior to main injection to the inside of a combustion chamber 2, so as to make an interval between finish of the pilot injection and start of the main injection roughly constant, a control part 21 to lenthen pilot injection timing in harmony with timing retard of the main injection is provided.
