To provide a pilot poppet type pressure control valve which maintains pressure in a high-pressure chamber constant by discharging a part of a fluid when the pressure of the fluid in the high-pressure chamber exceeds a standard value.
When the pressure of the high-pressure chamber H of the pilot poppet type pressure control valve excessively rises, it is relieved by a pilot poppet 6, the fluid in the high-pressure chamber H is discharged, and the valve has an inner diameter widened toward the downstream side so as to prevent rapid pressure drop of the discharged fluid at a discharge port 120. According to the structure of this discharge port 120, the pilot poppet type pressure control valve of the present invention has less vibration and noise accompanying discharge of the high-pressure fluid, and machining costs are low since the discharge port 120 is machined at once using a programmed NC shelf.
