Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin cylinder lock that may be manufactured with a small number of parts at a low cost, and offers a large number of key variations even when an overall length of a cylinder part is short.SOLUTION: A pin cylinder lock includes: an exterior member having a through-hole extending in an axial line direction and a recess on an inner peripheral surface; an inner cylinder member fitted rotatably on the inner peripheral surface of the exterior member and provided with a key hole along the axial line direction, and a plurality of pin holes formed through in a radial direction and reaching the key hole; a lock member provided on an outer peripheral part of the inner cylinder member so as to be energized outward by a spring, and having a protrusion that fits into the recess formed on an outer surface on a bottom surface; and a plurality of pins having a ring-form recessed groove on an outer periphery, the pins being housed slidably in the plurality of pin holes. Housing of the protrusion of the lock member becomes possible in the inner cylinder member and the inner cylinder member becomes rotatable, while a corresponding key is inserted into the key hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
