Abstract:
To provide a pin for hole as-cast in a die casting and the producing method thereof with which the dispersion of sizes in the same rod is minimized.
This pin for hole as-cast in the die casting is provided with a CVD film having three layers of TiC, TiCN and TiN in this order from the base material side on the surface of a steel material having a composition of 0.25-0.50% C, ≤1.2% Si, ≤1.5% Mn, 5.0-7.0% Cr, 4.0-8.0% 2Mo+W of Mo and/or W and 0.2-1.2% V and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
