Title:
PIN-LIKE BRACKET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3792079
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin-like bracket which dispenses with mechanical machining for securing dimension accuracy and electromagnetic molding, while reducing manufacturing cost and preventing deterioration of vibration-proof rubber at the time of molding.
SOLUTION: A pin-like bracket 6 has an integrated pin press-fitted into a cylindrical body cast by using a casting mold. The pin has at least a pair of flat surfaces 11a, 11b parallel to its center axis so as to be accurately faced to a prescribed target true circle determined by shape and dimension of the cylindrical body. The flat surfaces 11a, 11b pass through a position on the center side by spacing (s) which is predetermined by an intersection position between a line passing a center of the casting mold on a section perpendicular to the axis of the pin, along the facing direction of the casting mold, and an outer periphery of the target true circle. The spacing (s) satisfies the formula 14δ≤s≤36δ when estimated size of a foreign material present on a parting surface parted by a plane passing through a pin center of the casting mold.
