To reduced the size of an entire lock, easily drill pin holes in manufacturing the lock, and prevent a key from being weakened due to the density of key grooves when the key grooves matching the pin tumbler lock are manufactured.

In this pin tumbler lock, an inner tube 2 with a key insertion hole 2a is rotatably inserted into an outer tube 1. Pin holes 3a to 3h are formed to be communicable with the key insertion hole 2a from the outer tube 1 to the inner tube 2 from multiple directions. A tumbler pin 4 and a driver pin 5 are biased by a coiled spring 6 inward and slidably contained in the pin hole 3a to 3h. The pin holes 3a to 3h (tumbler pin 4) are not positioned on the same plane, and arranged in a staggered state. Also, all the pin holes 3a to 3h extend straight through the outer tube 1 and the inner tube 2.
