Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly and surely transport a material to be worked, even when the material is hooked in the lower die of a press, etc., with a comparatively low pinch pressure without being given a large travelling resistance and without requiring a large strong motor for the rotary driving of a pinch roller or a large fluid pressure cylinder device for applying a pinch pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A floating base member 21, by which the lower pinch roller 29 is supported rotatably, is provided movably in parallel to the vertical direction on a base member 17. The pinch roller supporting members 33, 35, 37, 39 by which the upper pinch roller 47 is rotatably supported are provided movably in parallel to the vertical direction on the floating base member 21. A fluid pressure cylinder device 59 is provided by which the floating base member 21 is moved in parallel to the base member 17; and thereby, the floating base member 21 and the pinch roller supporting members 33, 35, 37, 39 are floated as a whole.
