To provide a pinch valve capable of realizing power-saving and a strong pressing force.
The pinch valve comprises: a mechanism comprising a motor 1, a deceleration machine 2 for decelerating rotation movement of the motor 1, a feed screw 3, a guide frame 4, and an operational pressing body 4 coupled with a nut part 4a, and converting the rotation movement into linear movement; and a self-lock mechanism comprising an elastic tube 7, a stationary pressing bar 6 arranged across the elastic tube 7, the feed screw 3 capable of making the elastic tube 7 into an opening state and a pinching state at an opening position and a pinching position of the operational pressing body 4 respectively, and the nut part 4a. The valve is provided with means for detecting a motor current at the opening position and the pinching position, and blocking or limiting the current.
