Title:
PINCUSHION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013142216
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To easily, quickly and safely find lost needles at least from a pincushion and solve the problem of time-consuming work for finding lost needles dropped on a floor or embedded in a pincushion to meet a requirement for Japanese dressmaking workers to count the number of needles after sewing work.
At least a part of a needle is visually recognizable when the needle is thrust in a thin pincushion. Accordingly, a plurality of thin pincushions are stacked one upon another to a proper thickness, and both sides of the pincushions are alternately joined together in zigzag form. The pincushions are used in the form of a stacked block, and are spread to form thin cushions after work in order to facilitate the finding of needles.
