Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe branch connection easily and under a low cost as well under a high reliability in prevention of leakage.SOLUTION: A process of manufacturing a pipe branch connection of this invention comprises the steps of forming an annular wall 23 by opening a branch hole 5 upon performing a burring work while generating frictional heat at a wall of a pipe 1 and forming a first annular wall part 6 protruded from an inner peripheral surface of the branch hole 5 toward the inside of the pipe 1 and a second annular wall part 7 protruded from the inner peripheral surface of the branch hole 5 toward the outside of the pipe 1 so as to form an annular wall 23 including the first annular wall part 6, the inner peripheral surface of the branch hole 5 and the second annular wall part 7; forming an annular groove 9 capable of storing O-ring 10 at an end part positioned outside the pipe 1 of the annular wall 23; and forming a female thread 8 at the inner peripheral surface of the annular wall 23 inside the pipe 1 rather than the forming part of an annular groove 9.
