A pipe connecting metal fitting is provided with a plurality of insert support bodies 2 each of which integrally has a cylindrical fit-in part 5 fitted to the inner peripheral surface of a pipe to be connected, and a support shank part 6 having an outer diameter smaller than the fit-in part 5 and extended toward the connecting center O. Each insert support body 2 is integrally welded at the connecting center part so as to be protruded in a specified direction from the connecting center O, and pipe fixing threaded holes 12 are formed in each fit-in part 5. The end part of the pipe is fitted to each insert support body 2 and fixed by screws. The pipe is therefore supported in two places at its tip edge and at the fit-in part 5 so as to maintain strength and to improve assembling workability in fitting work to the insert support body 2.
