PURPOSE: To prevent the internal surface of a connected body by providing a pipe-side flange at the end of a metal pipe, providing a connected-side flange at the connecting section of a connected body, connecting them to each other by means of screw members, and positioning an insulating member between the flanges.
CONSTITUTION: This construction is used for connecting a pipe 45. A conductive pipe-side flange 47 is provided at the end of a conductive metal pipe 45 and a conductive connected-side flange 53 is provided at the connecting section 51 of a conductive metal connected-body 49. The connected-body 49 has different ionization tendency from the pipe 45. Through holes 55 are provided in the pipe-side flange 47 and connected-body side 53 and these flanges are connected to each other by means of a conductive screw members 61 through a conductive sealing member 59. An insulating member 63 is positioned between the screw member 61 and the flanges 47 and 53 to prevent electric conduction between the pipe 45 and the connected-body 49. Thus, corrosion of the internal surface of the connected-body can be reduced.
