Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connection mechanism which has heat resistance in a wide temperature range from low temperature to high temperature, achieves excellent sealability and rigidity, and is light-weight.SOLUTION: A gasket 6 is disposed between a first joint 4 fixed to a first pipe 2 and a second joint 5 fixed to a second pipe 3. The gasket includes: an expansion part 6e which expands toward both of a first relay part 4c (the first joint) and a second relay part 5c (the second joint); and a third contact part 6p which extends to the radial outer side of an insertion part and has a planar shape. In a state where the pipes are connected with each other, the third contact part is sandwiched by the first contact part and the second contact part. The expansion part contacts with the first relay part and the second relay part without causing gaps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
