Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe coupling for a resin pipe, capable of being easily attached to the resin pipe and maintaining a stably attached state for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A pipe coupling 1 according to the present invention comprises: a pipe coupling body 10 including a pipe-shaped portion 11; and a cylindrical sliding sleeve 5 capable of slidably, externally fitted onto a resin pipe 9. One end side of the pipe coupling body 10 is formed as a coupling pipe portion 2 and the other end side thereof is formed as an insert pipe portion 3. A displacement prevention portion such as a recessed portion is provided in an inner circumferential surface of the sliding sleeve 5. By disposing the sliding sleeve 5 in one end portion 91 of the resin pipe 9 in an externally fitted state while the insert pipe portion 3 is inserted into the end portion 91 of the resin pipe 9, the end portion 91 of the resin pipe 9 is pressurized and held between the sliding sleeve 5 and the insert pipe portion 3 while being compressed and part of the resin pipe 9 is closely engaged with the displacement prevention portion by an elastic restoring force.
