Abstract:
To provide a pipe cutter capable of efficiently cutting a pipe while preventing chips from being generated.
The pipe cutter 1 includes a slitting device 10 having a rotary cutter blade 11 to form a breaking slit 61 at an external surface of the pipe 60, and a breaking device 20 arranged away from the slitting device 10 toward a tip of the pipe 60 to break the pipe 60 at the slit 61. In the pipe cutter 1, the pipe 60 fed from the slitting device 10 to the breaking device 20 is broken at the slit 61 by the breaking device 20 while the breaking slit 61 is formed at the external surface of the pipe 60 by the rotary cutter blade 11 of the slitting device 10.
