Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pipe cutter with a rust preventive function, capable of performing the rust preventive treatment of a cut end such as a bifurcated port or the like automatically in the wake of boring work by a drill or the like.
CONSTITUTION: Since each rust preventing piece 3 being projectable more outward than at least a cutter's peripheral surface is retractably installed in the rear of an endmost cutting part 2 of a tubular cutter, this piece 3 is able to apply a rust preventive treatment to a boring part of a pipe body at the specified timing in time of boring the pipe body by the cutter or after this boring otherwise.
