To provide a pipe cutter which is simple in structure, can cut a pipe member of a small bore and a long length, reduces generation of chips, and can continuously cut the pipe member.

The pipe cutter is at least composed of a holder arm 4 which rotatively holds a rotary blade 3 for cutting the pipe member 2, and approaches to and separates from the pipe member 2 to cut the same; a chuck member 5 which holds the pipe member 2 in an irrotational manner and in an axially immovable manner as needed; and a driving machine 6 for rotating the pipe member 2 which is held by the chuck member 5. Herein the rotary blade 3 is brought into contact with the pipe member 2 kept in a rotating state by the driving machine 6, by the holder arm 4, and then the rotary blade 3 is corotated together with the pipe member 2 to cut the same.
