The pipe cutter 1 is equipped with a disc-shaped cutter 2 which is supported rotatably round a rotary shaft A2 arranged approximately parallel with the center axis Ap of the pipe P to be cut and whose peripheral edge abuts to the peripheral surface of the pipe, a pressurizing part 2a to press the cutter 2 to the peripheral surface of the pipe P, a frame 5 to support the cutter 2 and the pressurizing part 2a, a tape part 11 formed as wound round a bobbin installed on the frame 5, able to be drawn out in the longitudinal direction of the pipe P relative to the frame 5, and furnished with graduations on its surface, and a hitching part 12 provided at the forefront part of the tape part 11 and admitting hitching of the pipe end.
