The pipe cutting device for cutting a pipe in a circumferential direction with the movement of a cutting machine being driven along the outer periphery face of the pipe to the circumferential direction comprises a travelling mechanism 10 having a driving pulley 30 and driven pulleys 36, 37 arranged on both sides of the driving pulley 30 for travelling on the outer periphery face of the pipe to the circumferential direction in the state of mounting the cutting machine thereon. A belt member 70 capable of wrapping the pipe all over the periphery is applied on the outside of the driving pulley 30 and on the insides of the driven pulleys 36, 37 for wrapping and fastening the pipe at its outer periphery.
