Abstract:

To smoothly lay pipes to be drawn in over a long distance with the use of an existing draw-in device.

A pipe draw-in process comprises the steps of forming a start shaft an one side of a path to be laid, and a terminal shaft on the other side thereof, and advancing a rotary rod 4 underground in order to excavate a boring hole extending from the start shaft to the terminal shaft. A pipe 7 is introduced into the boring hole. At this time, a bore enlarging reamer 6, a leading pipe 5 having a member the same as a pipe to be laid, and having a diameter equal to that of the pipe to be laid, and having a required length, are connected in series, on the terminal shaft side, and a cylindrical pipe coating member 52 is arranged around the leading end part of the pipe 7 to be drawn in. The coating member 52 is folded back on one end side thereof in the vicinity of the opening part of the boring hole on the terminal shaft side. In this condition when the rod 4 is pulled on the start shaft side, the pipe 7 no be drawn in is led into the boring hole while the pipe 7 is covered with the coating member 52.
