Abstract:

To provide a pipe fitting tightening method, and a rotational number- controlling spanner wrench in which need of recognition of a point (STP) at which a tightening torque is quickly increased, and nut rotational number detec tion work based on marking in final tightening can be eliminated to enable even a beginner to correctly perform final tightening work without dispersion.

In a pipe fitting in which a tightening value is determined by a rotational number from a prescribed torque, in tightening a nut in the tube fitting with a spanner 1, a roller 7 provided on a spanner holder 2 of the spanner 1 is applied to a pipe (or a fitting end part which is not integrally rotated with the spanner 1) to roll. The tightening rotation number of the nut (spanner 1) is thus controlled based on a rotational number of the roller 7.
