To provide a one-touch type pipe joint which requires no pullback operation of a connection pipe and does not cause a locking ring to reduce a locking force of the connection pipe because of no shape restoration of the locking ring after locking.
In this one-touch type pipe joint, a curved locking ring, which deforms so as to elongate in the axial direction when pressed toward the radial direction, is fixed in an accommodation portion of the connection pipe of the pipe joint slidably in the circumferential direction and immovably in the axial direction. Thereby, on insertion of the connection pipe, pawl portions of the locking ring are deformed by mutual action with a surrounding tapered wall in such a way as to press the inside circumferential surface and/or the outside circumferential one of the connection pipe.
