To provide a pipe insertion and connection device capable of easily inserting and connecting a socket into/with a lower end of a pipe attached to a wall vertically by a simple configuration of the device.
This pipe insertion and connection device for inserting and connecting the socket 70 into/with the lower end of the pipe 60 on the upstream side is composed of a plurality of barlike supporting members 23 and a pair of half members 21A, 21B for pipe fixing chuck having a recessed part in which opposing sides are curved like circular arc. This device is provided with a pipe fixing chuck member 21 having an insertion hole of the barlike supporting member 23, a pipe fixing chuck mechanism 20 provided with a tightening fixing member 22 for the pipe fixing chuck member 21, a socket insertion plate 40 provided to cover a lower end opening of the socket 70, and a press-fitting jack mechanism 50 supporting a press-fitting jack 52 on a board 51 and provided with a plurality of cut-out parts 53 for receiving a part in the vicinity of a lower end of the barlike supporting member 23 to give press-fitting force to the socket 70 through the socket insertion plate 40 by the press-fitting jack 52.
