Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent incorrect assembling surely in a joint which connects pipes through a sleeve by screwing a nut in a joint member, by constituting the sleeve of two sleeves which are jointed with such force as to separate each other by torque at the time of tightening the nut.
CONSTITUTION: In assembling a piping joint and a pipe 7, the respective taper surfaces 2a, 3a of the first and second sleeves 2, 3 are jointed with each other in advance by such a force as separates each other by torque at the time of tightening a nut 4. Next, the pipe 7 are inserted into the nut 4 and the sleeves 2, 3 which are jointed with each other from the right side, and the left end part side of the pipe 7 is inserted into the large diameter part 1b of the joint member 1. Then the female screw 8 of the nut 4 and the male screw 6 of the joint member 1 are screwed to make torque work on the jointed surface of both the sleeves 2, 3 by tightening the nut 4 to separate the two sleeves 2, 3 from each other, and the sleeves are made to bite the pipe 7 respectively to joint the pipe 7 with the pipe joint securely.
