Abstract:
To wire a communication cable easily and inexpensively between a water meter and a meter inspection terminal.
The pipe joint for cable wiring comprises a pipe joint body 2, a cable lead-out opening 3 provided in the sidewall of the pipe joint body, a communication cable 4 inserted into the pipe joint body from the cable lead-out opening and arranged such that one end side extends to the outside of the pipe joint body from the cable lead-out opening and the other end side extends to the outside of the pipe joint body from one open end thereof, and a seal member 5 for sealing the cable lead-out opening hermetically not to leak water after the communication cable is inserted into the cable lead-out opening.
