This pipe joint-cum-temporary water shutoff valve includes: a male screw part 2 closed in a tip part thereof and formed to be screwed to a female screw formed in an opening end of a water pipe; and a hollow plug 3 continuously provided to a base end side of the male screw part 2 and having a diameter larger than that of the male screw part 2. An inner surface of the base end part of the hollow plug 3 is formed with the female screw part 5 to be screwed to the male screw formed in an opening end of the water pipe and an outer surface of the base end part of the hollow plug part 3 is formed with a hexagonal shape part 4.
