Abstract:

To allow easy pipe connecting work by preventing the fall-off of a seal ring when inserting the seal ring into a seal cap.

The seal cap 10 and the seal ring 15 are laid between a first joint member 1 and a second joint member 5. At one end of the seal cap 10, seal ring engaging pawl pieces 12 to be stoppers when inserting the seal ring 15 are formed opposing one another at four places. At positions opposite to the seal ring engaging pawl pieces 12 along the axial direction, fall-off preventing pawl pieces 14 are formed opposing each other at two places. A recessed groove in a grooved shape is formed in the fall-off preventing pawl piece 14 formed on the inner peripheral face side of the seal cap 10 at a position opposite to the outer peripheral face of the seal cap 10 so that the position of a pipe fixing pawl or the fall-off preventing pawl piece 14 after pipe assembly is checked to be a mounting/demounting mark.
