Abstract:
To suppress diameter enlargement of a main body portion in connecting a tubular member, in a pipe joint in which an outer periphery of a metallic component having a female screw portion is covered by the main body portion made of a resin.SOLUTION: A pipe joint structure S includes: a pipe joint 10 in which a cylindrical metallic member 18 having a female screw portion 18A is fixed to an inner periphery of a main body portion 16 composed of a resin material; a tubular member 12 having a male screw portion 12A and connected to the pipe joint 10 by fitting the male screw portion 12A to the female screw portion 18A; and a plate 14 composed of a material having elastic modulus larger than that of the resin material of the main body portion 16, having a through hole 14A to which the male screw portion 12A is inserted, held between the main body portion 16 and the tubular member 12 in connecting the tubular member 12 to the pipe joint 10, and at least partially overlapped to the metallic member 18 in a connection direction of the tubular member 12. A contact area of the plate 14 and the main body portion 16 is larger than a contact area of the tubular member 12 and the main body portion 16 in a case of not using the plate 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
