To reduce the wall thickness of metallic conduits to be joined together by means of a pipe joint by saving their threading, and prevent the joined metallic conduits from abruptly pulling off from the joint during water feeding therethrough, even ones of different outside diameters.
A pipe joint comprises a metallic joint body 1. The joint body 1 involves on its inner periphery a resinous part 13 having surfaces 20 tapering toward the ends, and locking rings 17 each having a locking part adapted to clamp a resin layer 23 formed on a resin-coated metallic conduit 2. The joint body 1 is at its each end formed with a clamped part 14, and provided with a joint member 12 including a clamp part 15 adapted to be tightened over the clamped part 14 and a contact part 16 adapted to come into contact with the locking ring 17. The resin layer 23 of the resin-coated metallic conduit 2 is stuck into the resinous part 13 fixed on the inner periphery of the joint body 1 with adhesive 10.
