This pipe joint 1 comprises a cylindrical body 2 insert-fitted to a sewer pipe 8, and a flange 3 provided on the outer peripheral surface of the body 2. The pipe joint 1 further comprises a seal member 11 interposed between the cylindrical body 2 and the sewer pipe 8 and having water cut-off action and fixed space holding action between the outer peripheral surface of the sewer pipe 8 and the inner peripheral surface of the pipe joint 1, and a cap member 12. The seal member 11 is mounted into a circumferential groove 13 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 2, and the cap member covers both inner and outer surfaces of an outside tubular end part of the cylindrical body 2.
