Abstract:
To provide a pipe joint which is easy in connection work for connecting pipe materials.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 has a core 10 having a cylinder part 11, a pipe joint main body 20 having an outside cylinder part 21, and a packing 40 having a protrusion 41 protruding toward the cylinder part 11 from the outside cylinder part 21. The pipe joint 1 also comprises a guide ring 60 supported to an external peripheral face of the cylinder part 11. A pipe material 2 inserted between the cylinder part 11 and the outside cylinder part 21 passes the protrusion 41 in a first direction X1 in a state that its end face 2a contacts with the guide ring 60. Here, the guide ring 60 comprises a first curved face 60a curved toward an external peripheral side in a second direction X2 at an external peripheral face of an end portion in the first direction X1, and does not comprise an edge at a portion contacting with the packing 40. Also, an end of the first curved part 60a in the second direction X2 comprises an outside diameter dimension equal to an outside diameter dimension of the pipe material 2 or larger. Therefore, when the pipe material 2 passes the packing 40, the end face 2a does not contact with the packing 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
