Abstract:
To provide a pipe joint capable of ensuring necessary surface pressure between a bulging portion of an inner ring and a tube even if the fastening torque of a union nut is not increased.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 is equipped with an inner ring 4 that has a bulging portion 6 pressed in a tip end portion of a tube 8, a joint body 2 in which an end portion of an inner ring 4 is pressed in an inner periphery and which has a male screw portion 2b on an outer periphery, and a union nut 3 that has a female screw portion 3a fastened by the male screw portion 2b, and presses the tip end portion of the tube 8 by fastening the female screw portion 3a with the male screw portion 2b. The bulging portion 6 has a tapering portion 13 that is pressed by the union nut 3 to generate surface pressure between the tube 8 and the tapering portion 13. An outer peripheral surface 15 of the tapering portion 13 has a recessed curved surface portion 15a formed in a recessed curved surface in a cross-sectional view in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
