Abstract:
To provide a pipe joint capable of being easily formed by simplifying a shape of a ring, and improving joining strength of a resin pipe.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 10 includes: an in-core 4 having a taper-shaped outer peripheral surface 4a pushed into an axial one side of a resin pipe P to expand a diameter of the axial one side of the resin pipe P; a cylindrical ring 3 fitted to an outer peripheral surface Pa close to the axial one side of the resin pipe P; a barrel 1 having a pipe insertion portion 1b to which the axial one side of the resin pipe P and an axial one side of the ring 3 are inserted; and a cap nut 2 engaged with a male screw portion 1d formed on an outer peripheral surface of the axial other side of the barrel 1 in a manner of covering the ring 3. An angle θ1 to an inner peripheral surface 3d of the ring 3, of the barrel-side end face 3a of the ring 3 is an acute angle in a state before fastening the cap nut 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
