PURPOSE: To provide a pipe joint where pipes to be connected can be surely and closely connected to each other, the connection of high reliability can be obtained, and the connecting work of pipes can be simply executed.

CONSTITUTION: A first spiral projection 3a which can be engaged with the spiral outer shape of a first spiral pipe 1 is formed on the inner circumference, and a first cylindrical locking member 3 where the locking by the tightening and fixing of the first spiral pipe 1 is possible and a second spiral projection 5a which can be engaged with the spiral outer shape of a second spiral pipe 2 are formed on the inner circumference. A second cylindrical locking member 5 which can be locked by the tightening and fixing of the second spiral pipe 2 is connected to a center core member 7 of approximately T-shaped section which is interposed between connection end parts 1c, 2 of the first spiral pipe 1 and the second spiral pipe 2 through a sealing member 8 by tightening an eye bolt 9 with a butterfly nut 10, and the first locking member 3 is connected to the second locking member 5 in the direction of the pipe connection surface under the tensile condition.
